About

Karl C. Kuban, MD, is a board-certified child neurologist at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and an emeritus professor at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. After receiving his medical degree, he completed a pediatrics residency at Children's Hospital/BMC and a child neurology residency at Children's Hospital/Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School. Dr. Kuban is chief of the Pediatric Neurology division at BMC, and he was the resident training coordinator in pediatric neurology at both Children’s Hospital Boston and at Tufts-New England Medical Center. He has authored more than 70 peer-reviewed publications on various research interests, including neonatal neurology, cerebral palsy, childhood stroke, autism, and brain injury related to congenital heart disease.
