Kristen H. Goodell, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and the associate dean of admissions and an assistant professor of family medicine at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, where she is also an academy medical educator, coaching, advising, and teaching clinical skills to all four years of medical students. After receiving her medical degree, she completed a residency in surgery at Tufts Medical Center and a residency in family medicine from the Tufts University Family Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Goodell was a family physician at Winchester Physician Associates and school physician for the city of Medford, Massachusetts from 2007 to 2017. Dr. Goodell has served in multiple national leadership positions, including co-chair of the Leadership Development Task Force of the Council on Academic Family Medicine, treasurer of the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine, and chair of the National Council on Graduate Medical Education.
