Catherine A. James, MD, is a board-certified pediatric emergency medicine physician at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and an assistant professor of pediatrics in the Department of Pediatric Subspecialties (Pediatric Clinical Services) at Boston University Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine. Dr. James has a special interest in medical student and resident education, procedure education, and diversity and inclusion. After receiving her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, she completed her residency in Pediatrics at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She completed her Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship at Children’s Hospital/BMC.
